This Is Apollo, A Cross Between A Tiger And A Lion Weighing More Than 700 Pounds

The term ‘big cat’ has just undergone an extreme overhaul, thanks to the appearance of this gargantuan feline.

The furry giant you see above is called Apollo, and it’s a lion-tiger crossbreed that’s called the tallest cat in the world.

The liger is the hybrid product of the cross between a lion and a tigress. Its appearance is that of a giant lion with diffuse tiger stripes, its fur is between orange and yellow.

Apollo weighs a massive 319 kgs (703 lbs), and it can go up to 40 miles an hour in a couple of steps.Apollo is frequently compared to the sabre-tooth tiger, which went extinct 10,000 years ago.
